The US Embassy in Amman was evacuated due to a “undetermined” security threat. The country partially closed its airspace from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Australia issued a “reconsider your need to travel” warning, while Canada and the UNITED KINGDOM advise to “avoid non-essential travel”. The US State Department has urged its citizens and visitors to immediately leave Jordan.
Iraq
Iraqi airspace is closed. The United States has a Level 4 (Do Not Travel) advisory in place and had already ordered the departure of non-emergency embassy staff before the current strikes began. The United Kingdom, Canada and Australia are advising against all travel, while the United States is urging its citizens to leave immediately.
Cyprus
A drone strike at the British base at RAF Akrotiri early on March 2, causing minor damage and no casualties, but marking the first impact of the conflict in Europe. Paphos International Airport (a public civilian and military airport) was evacuated after a suspicious object appeared on radar, and around 60 flights were canceled across the island. EasyJet has suspended its UK-Cyprus services until March 5.

Egypt
