The Wall Street Journal editorial board said Monday that Iranian attacks on Arab states, regional partners and European targets further isolate Tehran and strengthen the coalition against its regime.
“Iran's retaliation since the start of the US-Israeli bombing has so far helped build a coalition against the ruling regime. By attacking Arab states and partners, Tehran is making a broader argument against its own survival,” the editorial read.
“The Gulf states are angry. 'They want to fight,' Mr. Trump said Monday. … Iran has even implicated Europe by striking a French naval base in the United Arab Emirates and a Kuwaiti air base used by Italy. … The Iranian regime still has useful idiots it can count on, but its retaliation has increased the need and broadened the basis for regime change,” the editorial added.
